Menopause symptoms: yoga is an exercise that is appealing to menopausal women because of its many important benefits. In addition to reducing stress through calm, focused movements, it elongates the spine, stimulates internal organs, creates a better sense of balance and builds muscle mass in a way that enhances the feminine form.

Although weight training is touted as one of the best ways to stay in shape because it shapes muscle, if you make sure that your yoga routine involves exercises that test your strength and require you to balance, then you are also building muscle without having to throw weights around. The best thing about building muscle is that it increases testosterone in the body. Testosterone is beneficial to women’s bodies because it increases muscle strength, bone density, libido and elevates mood.
